Terry, Assistant Project Manager
Terry has been with the Vit Plant for seven years and worked on each of plant’s major nuclear facilities.
Ray, Journeyman Pipefitter
Ray has been with the Vit Plant for eight years total, most recently re-joining the project in 2010. He currently works as a journeyman pipefitter in the Low-Activity Waste Facility. Previously, he worked in the Pretreatment Facility and the Analytical Laboratory.
Kim, Facility & Acceptance Turnover Specialist
Kim has been with the Vit Plant since before Bechtel assumed the contract in 2001, working in a number of positions. She has seen the site change from a field of tumbleweeds to what it is today.
Alice, Requirements Management Subject Matter Expert
Alice has been with the Hanford Vit Plant for more than two years and with Bechtel for ten years. At the Vit Plant, she is the requirements management subject matter expert (SME).
Sarah, Systems Engineering Manager
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in the nuclear industry, including eight years working as a nuclear reactor operator. She worked at both a Department of Energy test reactor and an operating nuclear power plant.
Ian, Project Technical Director
Ian has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, including four years as the engineering manager at a successfully operating vitrification facility in the United Kingdom.
Mike, Project Engineer
Mike applies 35 years of nuclear engineering experience to designing a high-quality and safe Vit Plant.
