The Vit Plant team continues to guard employees from the spread of COVID-19 by making several engineered, administrative and behavior changes in the workplace. 'Sneeze guards' have been installed at more than 10 locations throughout the jobsite and Richland Offices to enhance protections during one-on-one interactions.
Installing these clear plastic physical barriers is consistent with workplace guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Sneeze guards provide a safer environment for brief transactions where social distancing may not be possible. Sneeze guards are being adopted by several industries to help protect people from sneezes and coughs.
