Bid Lists

The information you provide via the pre-qualification process page will be utilized to assess your company's general capability. Project specific criteria directly identifiable to numbered material/service requisitions may also be required via the opportunities page. This Project specific criteria may include specific go/no-go requirements and may also include requirements supplemental to any of the general categories. While the WTP Project seeks to maximize the use of competition for most project subcontract/purchase opportunities the completion of the general and project specific pre-qualification process does not guarantee participation in any RFP.

Full and open competition on the WTP Project is not required. However, the WTP Project seeks to ensure a sufficient number of pre-qualified firms meeting the general and project specific criteria are invited to bid in order to provide for an adequate level of competition for each RFP. The determination of the adequate level of competition (final list of participants) is at the sole discretion of the WTP Project team. Subsequent to WTP Project Team approval of the final list, RFPs will be made available on an Invitation ONLY basis.

This BID LIST page is a tool for Lower-Tier Suppliers/Subcontractors (Not Prime Suppliers/Subcontractors) to obtain information on who is on the Approved WTP Bidders List for each numbered MR. The purpose of this information is to allow Lower-Tier Suppliers/Subcontractors the option to contact those Bidders for networking and potential business opportunities.

The Bid Lists are not Master Project Bid Lists for the commodity indicated on each Bid List - they are however the Approved Bid List for the stated MR Number. If your company is not on the Approved Bid List for a particular MR it could be for a number of reasons (i.e. your company has not registered or was not registered at the time this bid list was prepared and approved; it was determined that more qualified companies were available;  and the Buyer determined that an adequate number of companies has already been identified for that MR)

Bidders lists are being developed on an ongoing basis and additional Suppliers/Subcontractors are being considered as the project develops. For each commodity there are, in many cases, a quantity of MR's required to complete the Project scope of work for that commodity.

Procurement Suspect/Counterfeit Items Program

Bechtel is committed to effective controls for the prevention, detection, and disposition of Suspect/Counterfeit Items (S/CI) to mitigate any potential safety threat in the operating complex.

The underlying principle in procurement is that suppliers demonstrate they are capable of delivering items conforming to specified requirements.

Suppliers are required to assure that suspect or counterfeit materials are not provided as part of the Material or Product for delivery under any agreement pertaining to the WTP project.

Bechtel will inspect material for attributes common to S/CI by personnel who are trained to recognize S/CI. All S/CI discovered are the Supplier's responsibility and must be replaced with items free from any suspect or counterfeit condition.

Please familiarize yourself with the Project Training Manual on Suspect/Counterfeit Items Awareness (3mb).
